i forgot that newgrounds is like. a decent place to post comics. oops.

i'll upload artie's birthday special and also work on things that aren't just sketches of my guys. ahaha

thinking about posting my sketchbook showcase here as well? this might be the only other place i'd post it outside of tumblr and spacehey, and i think it would be nice to get some things i've been drawing over the past year not just as a signifier of my improvement but also as like,, art content for here lol. since i haven't posted art content in a Long time. i do have a whimsical little iPad now which i adore and i'm still learning how to use it. so i might make more digital art to post here also. uh yeah !!

hi everyone! i'm so sorry for not being as active here as i should be - i kinda went through a whole moment with my relationship with social media. the journey, however, isn't all that important (to you, the reader). what matters is the decision i made to come back to newgrounds. the whole vibe right now is being more invested in "alternative" kinds of social media. if people want to see more of my work they'll seek it out, y'know? at least, that's the vibe i'm trying to go for. that and the way that a lot of social media seems to commodify and devalue art; whether it's fanart or something original, observational or abstract. it can also, on the artists end, put so much pressure on the performance of a post. which is not something i particularly want to do, since art is something i do for fun, lol. i might not be super duper active posting art all the time, but i definitely want to post a bit more. newgrounds seems like such a cool place and i'd love to meet some of the cool people here. apologies if none of this makes any sense, i kinda just word vomited a bunch of vague feelings (that i might go into depth a bit more?? will consider) but i hope to make people feel with my art :] that's all i can think of as an update tbh, and if anything comes up in the future (like i need a break, something happens, etc.) i prommy i won't disappear into the void again. bye for now !!
